What we keep, and why.

Who we are

Saoirse Software Limited, registered in Ireland (company no. 819296), Venture Hub, 136 Capel Street, Dublin 1, D01 T2C9. We decide what happens to the information on this page, which makes us its controller under the GDPR. Write to support@saoirsesoftware.com about anything here.

Visiting this website

• The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and browser to deliver the page.
• The lettering comes from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for it, and Google sees your IP address.
• We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no cookies of our own.

Telling us your idea

The "Tell us your idea" form sends us your idea, the tool you use, your name if you give it, and your email address. Netlify stores what you send, and we read it there. We use it only to reply to you. It stays until we delete it — ask and we will.

The live SonaChat demo

• The demo runs on a server we rent from Hetzner Online GmbH, in Nuremberg, Germany.
• The phone on the page gives you a made-up name and number, kept in your own browser so the conversation is still there when you come back.
• What you type is sent to Google's Gemini AI to write the reply, and saved in the demo. The demo erases every conversation every hour. Please do not type anything personal — it is a demo.
• The server keeps a technical log of requests (time, IP address, the page asked for), which it rotates automatically. We use it only to fix problems and stop abuse.

• Payment happens on Stripe's checkout page. Stripe collects your card, email, name, billing address and, if you give it, a VAT number. We never see your card number.
• Your licence key is written onto the purchase in Stripe, and Stripe emails you the receipt with it. We keep no separate customer database — the record of the sale lives in our Stripe account.
• We keep sales records for as long as Irish tax law requires (currently six years).
• We use your email only for your purchase: the receipt, support, and news of updates to what you bought. No marketing lists, and we never sell or share your details.

Once SonaChat is installed

SonaChat runs on your own server. Your contacts, conversations and settings stay there, and we have no access to them. A licence key bought here is checked on your server, offline. A copy bought elsewhere with a purchase code sends that code — and nothing else — to our licence server to confirm it was sold.

Writing to us

If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you, and delete it when you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to support@saoirsesoftware.com and we will answer within a month. Sales records we are required to keep by law stay until that obligation ends. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to Ireland's Data Protection Commission.

When what we keep changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
